We use the following leathers in our line of bags & accessories.

 

TOP GRAIN, RECYCLED LEATHER

Top grain leather is the top choice for luxury handbags due to its longevity, consistency and smooth, supple finish. We use hides that are a by-product of the meat industry, and would otherwise end up in a landfill. Instead we turn them into timeless, beautiful bags that will hopefully have a long and useful life. 
 

RESPONSIBLE LEATHER 

"Responsible" leather is an alternative to conventional top grain leather and is used for some of our designs. It is lower-impact than traditional leather processing for the following reasons: 

  • 100% of leather waste is repurposed into organic fertilizer for agriculture
  • Uses less energy (23,52 MJ/m2 of energy consumption) and less water (0,06 m3/m2 of water consumption) to produce. Green energy is also utilized during the production of this leather, using a photovoltaic system with a rated power of 160 kWp/year.
  • Using smart technology, pollution is reduced (80% decrease in pigments and polluting particles and 30% decrease of spray drying air consumption).
