Great Looking Hat, somewhat ill-fitting

Having Alopecia and being bald presents challenges in cold weather months. I chose this leather cap because it looked stylish and a style I wear on most occasions. This hat looks great but it is a little ill-fitting. It seems to have extra room on the dome part of the hat. This, with various adjustments of the Velcro flap in the back and I still can’t get it to sit on my head without a gap on top. I guess whoever designed it did this so it could fit various head shapes. This hat makes my head sweat a great deal. I will continue to wear it from time to time. I was lucky to have purchased it on sale. I’m hoping the hats shape will settle. If it doesn’t I won’t wear it as often as I hoped. The design may have worked better as a “fitted” hat made in various sizes.

It has a pouch inside. However, it hurts the top of the head because of it. Nonetheless, the idea is to have the hat totally fit your head. This one doesn't. Although the material is excellent, the hat is not.
