Great Looking Hat, somewhat ill-fitting

Having Alopecia and being bald presents challenges in cold weather months. I chose this leather cap because it looked stylish and a style I wear on most occasions. This hat looks great but it is a little ill-fitting. It seems to have extra room on the dome part of the hat. This, with various adjustments of the Velcro flap in the back and I still can’t get it to sit on my head without a gap on top. I guess whoever designed it did this so it could fit various head shapes. This hat makes my head sweat a great deal. I will continue to wear it from time to time. I was lucky to have purchased it on sale. I’m hoping the hats shape will settle. If it doesn’t I won’t wear it as often as I hoped. The design may have worked better as a “fitted” hat made in various sizes.
